Lottery
Buy a ticket for the East Herts community lottery in the run-up to Christmas and you could win £150 to spend in the local independent business of your choice and £100 to see some great shows at Hertford Theatre.

Half of the £1 ticket price goes to a local charity of your choice as well so it’s a win-win for you and your favourite cause. To buy tickets go to www.easthertslottery.co.uk and you can enter the prize draw at the same time.

Eric Buckmaster, executive member for wellbeing, said: “The East Herts community lottery is a great way to support your favourite local cause.

“As well as the regular weekly prizes of cash and free tickets, there’s now an opportunity to win a big prize – with £150 you could treat the family to a meal at a local eatery, update your wardrobe, fill your home with flowers and lots more. And you can choose from a wider selection of shows, film, comedy and more at Hertford Theatre with friends and family. It’s up to you.”

The draw is on December 14 and the result will be announced the following week.
